Hey, I've had this account for a while but I don't think I've posted with it before (or if I did it was a long time ago). I'm Alex and I'm from the Wirral, near Liverpool, UK. I've been having a hard time recently with depression largely centred around my difficulty socialising with people and feelings of loneliness, culminating in me bashing my head very hard against a door :/ so I figured I'd jump on here and try to talk to people online  right now I'm a student and I'm hoping to go to university next year, either Liverpool Uni or Chester, doing either English lit and Philosophy or English and Journalism, respectively. I'm an old man at the age of 23 so I gotta get on the university bandwagon before my face shrivels up. I'm in to video games and uh... pretending to my English tutor that I read loads of books! I like to think I'm intelligent but I pretend to be modest about it.

Liverpool is a lovely city by the way though I went once but that was only for a reason but still... loved it.
I thought being an outsider would have had me hung but it seems to be quite welcoming from my 1 visit.

That might be true but everybody from the area thinks it's a horrible dreary place and I live just across the River Mersey so I'm not even a proper scouser!
