My weird eating habits are more about lack of convention. Meaning, I don't feel like certain foods are only appropriate at certain times or contexts. People eat breakfast food for dinner, why not dinner for breakfast?

When I was a kid I put ketchup on just about everything.

I've eaten dinner or lunch for breakfast since I've had control of such things. I'm a major caffeine junkie, though not much of a coffee drinker. My drug of choice is Diet Coke or a couple energy drinks. When I do eat 'breakfast', it's a hamburger patty and eggs sunny side up, with ketchup and tabasco, I can't handle any other kind of egg. Raw onion and tomato are out, unless it's salsa. Mushrooms are a no-go

I stopped eating pork when I was 20, lamb or venison I've never tried and don't care to. I've graduated in 1 area where I can eat fish but only if it's fish-n-chips type fish, however I love battered shrimp. That's about it for seafood.

I've always enjoyed vegetables; my favorites peas, spinach and broccoli. I've become sick to death of green beans though

I don't necessarily have to always eat the same thing, but when I realize I've forgotten to eat I'll grab the first package of chicken nuggets, frozen burrito or pizza bites I see. Occasionally I'll have days where all I've eaten were tacos or burgers, only realizing the fact at dinner time

I have pizza every Saturday night if possible - it has to be cooked at home - I get anxious if I don't have it.

Otherwise I have eaten the same lunch for most days for the last 3 months. I don't worry if I cannot have it but it is what I enjoy, it makes me smile when I find it.

I will eat almost anything and while I do tend to eat the whole of one food type before starting the next this is not a rule and it doesn't always happen.

Also, I smell and inspect every single dish or glass I'm about to use. If there is any detectable scent, or if there are spots (even if they are water), I won't use that plate or dish. This creates issues, too, because I try to be kind to the environment, but I usually eat off of paper plates and use plastic utensils. I hope when I have my own home I'll be able to find a detergent scent I like and make sure the dishes are thoroughly rinsed before going into the dishwasher.

I do that too, my family are used to it now and so sometimes I forget how odd I must look smelling all the cutlery before I use it. I am particularly odd with spoons. I have my own cutlery that is just for me and my own plastic plates and dishes. In my own flat I have labels on my big spoons so I never stir soup and porridge with the same spoon. Once my boyfriend used one of the mugs to make gravy in and now I can't use any of them as they are all the same colour and I don't know which one it was. Luckily he has now bought me a mug just for me and promised not to use it. I always ask for the paper cups if I go to Starbucks and then feel very guilty about the environment.

I wish I could change all of this, it seems to absurd when I can see it written down. It is quite embarrassing for me. My boyfriend told his family that I have 'psychological issues' and they have been very polite and never mentioned anything, even when I have gone to their house and eaten nothing but I dread going into situations where people will comment on my eating. I have tried very hard to fix this, and it is traumatic and impossible.

I'm a very picky eater. I'm also vegetarian. I bluntly refuse to eat onion, cooked or raw, because the taste makes me retch. That goes for ANY type of onion. I also won't eat eggs unless they're in something. I won't eat them on their own. I have to eat my food in a particular order. My "meat" first, then potato, then broccoli, then carrot, then beans, then peas. If it's all mixed together, I'll always pick out and individually eat at least one or two ingredients.

Not really but I dislike tomatoes, mushrooms and raw fish. I do not like food for leftovers that are more than one or two days old. I also am careful about expired food and if I am in doubt that it is expired I will not eat it. During the week and often on weekends I eat the same food for breakfast since it is easier and I am usually in a hurry. For lunch I may eat the same foods from week to week and it depends. If I get a pizza or salad it is comical because I take out or take off several of the ingredients. For example, I like personal pizza supreme and will take off the mushrooms and some or all of the sausage and sometimes most of the onion. Then when I get a salad I take out the tomatoes, the olives, and the onions. I do like tomatoes in salsa or brushcetta and like ketchup, I just dislike plain, raw tomatoes. Embarassed

I have a LOT of food issues, some of them being not able to eat cut pickles or olives, even if I cut them myself. then there's textures and flavors, and smells, and looks.

the foods I do eat are easier to list then the ones I don't

I can't eat food someone other than my mother has made. Seriously.

I like to eat the same stuff over and over again (a big duh! there from the ASD forum).

I hate mixing stuff together; food needs to be separate on the plate.

me too!

though i think my only "weird" food habit is suddenly (overnight) becoming vegetarian.

at first i thought it would be hard, but now i can't even stand the thought of eating meat.

i think i may have talked myself into it a bit Neutral
