I know what I find beautiful, but it does seem different from what it seems other people like. It seems most people like fake plastic looks. Just can't understand why any one would be attracted to people like Jordan or Kim Kardashian.

I'm not an Aspie but I have a different concept of beauty from a lot of people.
I find it starts for me, from within people and not from what they look like. I cant imagine finding the outside of people attractive before seeing beauty inside, then it really dont matter what they look like. All bodies can become deeply beautiful to me.

I have found that even when someone is somewhat homely or ugly to me, they still look good to me when their face lights up with a smile. So I've learned that outer appearances really don't matter. It's what someone is like on the inside that's important.

Some of the creeps that used to bully me as a kid looked nice on the outside, but they were creeps, so don't put so much importance into what the wrapper looks like. It's the contents of the package that matters.

You shouldn't let the opinions of others influence who you find attractive.
Why would it matter to you if other people find your partner attractive?

Something like that.

I clearly prefer some cuteness over physical attractiveness. Personality traits can make a person more attractive to me too.

Overtly sexual appearance can show up for me as repulsive, especially nail art.

You find nail art overtly sexual? Do you mean like the talons some women get or any nail polish or designs.
I paint my nieces nails with polka-dots or whatever sometimes and I do my own nails, never thought of nails as particularly sexual.
It's interesting if you do.

I'd hate to say it, but I do have a thing for extremely busty voluptuous women. Though even then my preferences don't always fit what you might call "conventionally attractive". Though my greatest crushes have had more to do with intelligence. Some particularly intelligent conversation, or intellectual achievements and I have to make a conscious effort to avoid falling head over heels. Ideally the woman would have both boobs and brains, but the brains are waaaaaaaay more important.

The Jersey Shore cast are meant to be a representative sample of human scum. So they while they do represent one version of "conventionally attractive" it is the one version most closely associated with vanity and fakeness and other negative qualities.

Though personally I find myself being equally suspicious of skinny, white, "nice girl" prettiness, which I'm sorry to say includes Zooey Deschanel. Eh, on second thought she's not so bad, I just get annoyed with the whole "manic pixie dream girl" trope, in which she has been type-cast.

Sorry, I meant the other way around... Did I really made that mistake? Anyhow, it may be not my cup of tea, but apparently some people do like it.

Edit: Oh, now I understand. I don't find it sexual, I only know that in the eyes of most people it is sexual or rather, sexy.

No I understand that you don't like it. I was wondering if you thought nail art was "overtly sexual" like exposed cleavage or hot pants might be seen? Do you think it's vulgar?
Just curious cause I never thought guys paid attention to that kinda thing.

I perceive people as attractive, although I don't have celebrity crushes.

There's this guy I know and chat with who constantly asks me which celebrities I find most appealing or would want to have sex with, and these questions make no sense to me. I don't want to have sex with anyone, so why would I make an exception for a celebrity? And how am I supposed to rank people in terms of attractiveness?

Also, what is meant in the poll by "do you have a natural concept"?

"natural concept of what people are considered beautiful"

I supposed it means that you can feel or see naturally (without learning) what's considered beautiful by most people in our time. My answer was no to the poll's question.

How would you see it without learning? I don't see how that's possible.

I'm really not sure but I think most people are attracted to the same kind of beauty and that beauty becomes consequently popular. If you are not among those, you can still learn it, but it won't be 'natural'. I may be wrong, as according to certain notions only a minority finds popular beauty naturally attractive, the rest follows the trend. I don't know.

There could be at least two explanations why I don't find popular or generally accepted beauty attractive in most cases. 1. My view is autistic, so I don't like such things as heavy makeup and nail art, as they mean nothing to me, only they seem artificial and unnatural to me. 2. Due to my social anxiety I simply despise too attractive people as a defense mechanism (defends the ego).
