Took me a while but I caught up , yay for more Bob Dylan XD

You have pretty good taste Gravechylde however Overkill - Frankenstein !! Started d/l this before I even listened to it.

Joe Cocker looks like he should be related to Charlie Chuck.
And is that a full sized guitar and he's just that big ?? I couldn't decide, was beautiful none the less blew the original out of the water IMO
And I thought The Communards released that originally, love learning new stuff about music.

Better than the originals? No, but I love these covers and this band:

Red Hot Chili Peppers do some good covers. I was specifically looking for this one (Stevie Wonder cover):

But then I remembered they had this one too (Ohio Players cover):

This is a cover of Janis Joplin's version, it's pretty good if you ask me:

Here is a cover of "King of Pain":

Cover of Bette Midler's "The Rose" written for a film of the same title that was released in the '70s, way better than the original in my opinion:

Oh, and I almost forgot this, evidently the studio version was removed from Youtube for copyright reasons, so this was the only one I could find:

Isn't "Airstream Driver" by Gomez a cover?
And listen to Calexico's "Alone Again Or..." I know a few other people have covered it, but this one's great. Especially at Rockpalast 2006, somewhere in Europe.

I heard somewhere that all of The Ramones songs were covers. Any truth to that?

Disturbed and In Flames tend to do really well with covers.

Disturbed: Land of Confusion and Midlife Crisis
In Flames: Ordinary Story and Strong and Smart

Another good one is Nonpoint's cover of In the Air tonight and their cover of Evil Ways.
