I am trying different body washes but am particular with scents. I tried vanilla and hate it. I like cranberry scents or fall like scents. I got Softsoap Raspberry something and its ok. I tried Dove body washes but don't like the scents. _________________ In memory of my beloved best friend in the whole world, my West Highland White Terrier, Timmy (Nov 24 2004-Sep 5 2011)

| Maybe try sentless shower gel or soap? Simply unperfumed. If you don't see them they may be in a shop for biologic food or on the net, because they do exist. |

I'm like this with air fresheners too. I like the fall/winter scents. My ultimate fav scent is Bath and Body Works Winter Candy Apple. I don't like the spring/summer scents. _________________ In memory of my beloved best friend in the whole world, my West Highland White Terrier, Timmy (Nov 24 2004-Sep 5 2011)

| I generally stay away from anything scented, but I was given some dr haushka lemon body wash and it's very mild and nice. |

Are people on the spectrum more sensitive to smells in certain body washes, etc?
I'm like this with detergent too. _________________ In memory of my beloved best friend in the whole world, my West Highland White Terrier, Timmy (Nov 24 2004-Sep 5 2011)

I don't like strong smells and I am quite over-sensitive to perfume. I prefer soap and plain unperformed body wash. I imagine everyone is different though. |

| i choose body scents and washes that smell either talc like or bicarb soda like. I hate mint toothpastes too and stick to a bicarb one. |

i like the smell of men's body washes more than women's. i don't get why women are expected to smell like synthetic fruits and flowers. i'd rather smell like synthetic musk or sandalwood or minty _________________ on a break, so if you need assistance please contact another moderator from this list:

| I make my own. The synthetic stuff has so much extra gross stuff in it. Mine has 3-8 ingredients. It's kind of a pain because it takes six weeks to cure, but I know exactly what goes inside and exactly how it will feel on my skin. |

I make my own too. I'm not good with synthetics and at least I can control what goes into it and what it will smell like. Some of the girls I am friends with have started buying the stuff like that which I make from me actaully.
@Hyper: I agree with the weird stupid rule that girls should only ever smell like flowers / fruit. I quite like the smell of dragon's blood myself. _________________ Diagnostic Tools and Resources for Women with AS: http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt211004.html |

| I like plain, unscented soap. One of my big sensory issues is feeling like there's any residue on my skin (just about every product, even my natural body oil leaves some kind of residue). I don't use hair conditioner for the same reason. |
