Also "Orejon" was the spanish name for the local tribe of Native Americans in the Northwest because of their big ear onaments from which the state of Oregon recieved its name.

hmm well considering Orejon is a fictitious name for a real group...they may escape through a hidden loophole depending on how broadly it is enforced. So should the state of Oregon withold all state funding to the state of Oregon if its name is not changed to Jeremy in 5 years??

Because the blacks and the jews where not killed off and had their land taken from them but the Indians btw I am cherokee where slaughtered like pigs I never find indian mascots offensive. |

I think it's a bunch of PC bullsh*t.
I remember my freshman year of high school where they wanted to ban 'confederate' flags. That lasted for about a week. In reality, what is commonly known as the 'confederate' flag is actually the flag of the Army of Tennessee. But I doubt anyone knew that.
Now, just so we're clear, I'm not going to debate the civil war, etc. |
