I'm the original author of that piece you mentioned, and I just wanted to say I'm really touched that you liked it enough to draw a scene from it! The picture looks great, I dig the detailing on the android parts and the hair.

Haha thank you very much! I never expected the pleasure that my illustration is appreciated by the author herself! Your story is very well-written. I really like the poignant feeling in the story, the way you narrate this heartwarming hopelessness from a mechanized post-human on a snowy, empty wasteland. I am always inspired by emotional/ depressing subject matter. In fact I had this image stuck in my mind when I firstly read your story last year, but it is not until recently that I manage to get around to make it:) I was thinking of posting it on the SCP forum, but sadly I am not a member.

Thanks! But do the drips of blue paint look... weird? Two people stated that it seemed out of place.
