Something else I do is, if I'm writing a post on a forum or Facebook or something and I find what I'm writing to be funny, I say it out loud to myself and laugh. Does anyone else do this? And I ALWAYS go back and reread my posts, 2 or 3x, just so I can remember exactly what I wrote and so that I can hear my own voice in those words. |
Mhm! I do this all the time! I love reading my writing, and repeating a funny thing I wrote over and over again!

I do this all the time.
If someone says something that is the start of a quote (they may not even know the reference) i have to complete it. The worst was quoting the meaning of life Part 2 in my wedding vowels. Nobody made the connection though.
I am the worst with monty python and the simpsons. It just slips out. although random quotes from other sources do frequent my vocabulary also. |

| You're not the only one. I did it alot as a kid when I was excited about something. I still do it now, but I recite things when no one's around. I would usually download the audio version of it and listen and repeat it so my family won't go insane since I rewind and replay things over and over alot when I'm in a good mood. |

I sometimes feel like a human soundboard. I absorb and recite so many quotes and phrases from movies, people I know, and so on. I remember wondering to myself a few months back of why I do this. I'll sometimes just say them to say them; other times, I'll work them into conversation (and then proceed to recite an entire scene from a video clip or something).

I used to do this a fair amount when I was a kid. I would whisper the last word--or the last few words--that I said back to myself. I don't do this so much, but I will still preservative on a word or phrase, especially if I'm excited about something.
I haven't been diagnosed with AS, but the more stuff I see like this, the less doubt there is in my mind that I have it. |

| I very often, and quite randomly, quote things from movies or TV-series. Or phrases I've read. |

Please don't tell me you actually reported it. I don't want to get in trouble
But thanks lol

That's a tribble from the "trouble with tribbles" episode of the original star trek right? jk.
I recite numbers and do calculations in my head. That's my version of what you do. I find number MUCH easier to remember than words. |
