-You spend hours concentrating on your special interest, only to find you had to be somewhere two hours earlier, but you'd forgotten all about it.

-When every time you go outside, you feel like you're acting.

-When everything has to be perfect/the way it should be, otherwise it bothers you.

-When you regularly catch yourself rocking without realising it

-When everybody thinks you're weird for wearing heavy/large clothes (for sensory reasons.)

you basically just described me Very Happy (except the last one)

-when you measured out the exact amount of condiments for your sandwich, then decided you don't want to eat.

-when people stare at you in the store because your wearing shorts and a light jacket and its snowing outside.

YES!

You might be an aspie...

If you speak along with the automated voice introducing your voice mail
If you make the facial expressions described in the book while you are reading
If you know how many seconds there are in each phase of your intermittent wipers
If you know how many dings the seat belt reminder makes, and the interval between sets... and you keep listening to make sure the car gets it right.

The windshield wipers on HIGH makes me unnerved! I begin to panic! I can't handle them on high!!

...When you look forward to seeing new posts in this thread.
...When you have just realized the term "Keep your chin up" doesn't literally mean that.
...When you are curious about what your next special interest might be.

......When the needle in the temp gauge in your car is about 1/8 of an inch higher than normal and you keep looking down at it to make sure it goes back down to normal.

you've just described me!

you're an aspie when you see someone grimacing and think he's smiling.
i was wondering why the girl on TV who ran away from the police cars was smiling and looking so pleased with herself. after all, she had several murders under her belt and they were just about to get her...

You ask who speaks Polish and someone says ask Mr. Sheen. Your response is Confused

You receive an email from your friend which says how he's known you for 9 years (can't believe it's been that long) and he always knew from the way you act that you're on the spectrum.

When you spend several minutes looking for an appropriate image to make a joke about not recognizing facial expressions before realizing that you can't possibly find one because you can't recognize facial expressions.

-When you cook or bake from a recipe you follow it EXACTLY how it says, all measurements are exactly on the line, etc.
-When you follow the same walking route everytime and you follow it a certain way ex-you have to walk in the middle of the sidewalk
-When you sort out your clothes by colour and type
-You either don't care about your looks and when you do care you have to look perfect to your standards
-You don't get all overly excited when your friends talk about guys
-You have no coordination and you can't do certain sports like swimming, skating and biking
-You like to follow the same traditions every year
