When I was four years old I was diagnosed with Tourette's. However, by the time I got to secondary school, it disappeared almost completely in a gradual manner. But for the past couple of months I have been getting bouts of bad tics in the left side of my body (not the right side), my left hand sometimes shakes a bit (when my right hand doesn't), and I have been having some minor speech problems. I am on antipsychotics; I am not sure if this is caused by the meds (as I am on aripiprazole and olanzapine which have a low propensity for movement disordered side-effects), or if this is neurological.

What do you think? I'm going to email my psychiatrist soon but I want to have at least an idea about what this is so that I can research it before I email her.

I am concerned about how only the left side of my body is affected. I do have a good knowledge of medicine and it's making me have a mild sense of hypochondria....

I would guess a hyperkinesia from medication.

I have mild Tourette's which to me is so annoying I know that I'm having my tics and they piss me maybe more then other I have to snort , clear my throat and swallow my salvia ... It gets so hard somethings . Some days it's ok and I'll have a little tic here and there but trying to suppress it makes it so much worse also if someone makes
My noises I can't help but flare up really bad Sad . Where I live is with at my mates house with his dad at first I didnt know I had Tourette's just annoying can't help myself noises that have to be made of which I was told it was a bad habit etc so I tried to hide it which made my tic worse once I got to my room or outside . I don't mind my Tourette's to bad unless people zone on in it which makes me too and it makes me very embarrassed etc. From Mr
