| With the original cast, #2 and #4 were the best by far. Frankly, I don't find anything that endearing about any of the ones with the TNG cast - Nemesis was pretty decent if only for Data's awesomeness. The rest of them had mediocre scripts, at best, including the "crossover" one with Kirk and the TNG cast, and the time travel / Borg one was just awful - all of the scenes with Riker and co on earth and Giordi helping the guy break the warp barrier all were just cringe-worthy. Its only redeeming aspect was the Worf / Piccard conflict. I know I'm the only one but the new film going back to the young crew of the Enterprise I didn't find to be at all good either. |
