I have heard that aspies generally have poor penmanship (not all aspies), so this incuriates me (makes me curious). I have bad handwriting.

So, do you?

I had been chastised be teachers for "poor penmanship", as i could never replicate the cursive letters as they wanted. So now i only write in block lettering then it looks good to me when i am allowed to take my time to write, but looks awful when forced to rush the process.

I indeed have abysmal penmanship. With that having been admitted, I can further say that I write with flawless spelling and use excellent grammar.

I have had really bad handwriting, but intense training when I was 17-18 yrs made it all much better. I collect letters and postcard pre-1945, and I am amazed over random peoples beautiful handwriting! If anyone had such skills today, they would certainly be regarded as gifted artists!

Handwriting level is subjective, but in my opinion I would say that my handwriting is both very unique to how others write, and is also messy. I get messier the faster I write/more stress I am under while I'm writing.

I also have a poor handwriting. I can only write in cursive, otherwise it would be too slow. I wonder how others could learn to write in detached letters after we all learned to write in cursive at first.

Not only yes, but 'Hell Yes!" I believe the word atrocious has been used in describing mine. Its gotten a bit better with pen, but with a sharpie? Well...

Sincerely,

My hand writing is illegible, my hand printing is that of a kid in grade three. It's embarrassing to me so I refrain from using it.

I can type fast though.

<----- Pathetic handwriting. His signature resembles a straight line. For this reason he writes only in block (capital) letters.

Terrible penmanship and handwriting; excellent still life skill.

I can only write well if I focus on the words I'm writing instead of the ideas I am expressing.

I don't know, I don't like my handwriting much but most people say I write neater than they do.

It has been described by one of my teachers as, and this is a quote, "The worst, most terrible handwriting I have seen in my 26 years of teaching". I was given a laptop sort of thing one year to use for all my work instead, but I never used it.

I think its mostly because I write about 10 times faster than most people, but it hurts for some reason if I slow down...

My hwndwriting had always been bad unless I take my time on it. I don't think i've writen anything but my name in cursive since elementary school. I find it interesting how most peoples signatures seem to be identical every time. Mine sure isn't. my signature looks different nearly every time i write it.

I do write my 2's and S's strangely, though. I don't write them how they should be written. Same goes with the way I write foreign languages. I have good penmanship, however. My signature looks completely different each time I write it. I like to make it illegible because that's more fun!
