I seen some episodes of the first season saw the rest of the first season on NetFlix it was show with Roy Schneider and late Johnathon Brandis produced by Steven Spilberg It was about how the U.E.O. (United Earth Ocean) Colonized The Ocean and the Seaquest was it's protectors The Show had alot of paralleled with Star Trek Including just like with starfleet I would have liked joining the U.E.O. because of my Fascination with the ocean My favorite was that Dolphin who spoke through a Translator named Darwin

I didn't watch it much, but a while back I saw the sequel to 2001, Space Odyssey 2010, and the guy from Seaquest is in it WITH THE TALKING DOLPHIN. It's the same character!

I believe the appropriate phrase is, 'Boo-yah'.

I remember this show too..just barely! I recall episodes airing on NBC when I was either in kindergarten or the first grade..I think I only watched a couple of episodes though. I probably thought sea monsters were going to be in it, since I was in the height of my Dinosaur and Godzilla obsession.

The third season was unbearably silly, but the first two seasons were great, especially Roy Scheider.

I loved that show as a kid. Agreed, however, that the last season was ridiculous.

I was upset when I found out Jonathan Brandis hanged himself.
