I did not really understand loneliness until hormones & puberty caught me unaware. Stupid biology! LOL
Well, ok not so funny. I was really hurting by age 19. Always felt I was different from others. Also was constantly getting the "Be stronger!" or "Apply yourself!" lines.
Oh well, like I said, not possible to be dxd with AS for me, as it was not a recognized condition at the time. And HFA? Did not even know there was such a thing. My example of an Autistic child was "Tommy" on St. Elsewhere. A very unfortunate character to use as a diagnostic measure. All the mis-conceptions rolled into one.
Still waiting to meet someone faking AS though. I will let you know if I find one, ok?
Sincerely,
Matthew |

Because it makes life easier for them.
One girl even said that if Asperger's exist, everyone could be disabled. I was really close to... speaking my mind. And I rarely do that.
On top of Asperger's, I also fake depression and social anxiety. I'm really good at it. People really believe I have it.

Yeah, puberty was hell. I can't say I am happy now either, but I had some real breakdowns when I was 16/17.
Before puberty, I still had some self-confidence. It's the only thing I really miss. _________________ EXPANDED CIRCLE OF FIFTHS

| I don't think anyone would fake having aspergers, they may have their suspicions, but that doesn't mean they're faking it. |

It wouldn't make sense anyway. Because having Aspergers usually makes you stick out and get noticed by nasty people. I don't think anyone really believes that people fake Aspergers. _________________ EXPANDED CIRCLE OF FIFTHS

I trimmed the quote down to keep context:
I don't think it relates to the topic title, but I like what you wrote. Most especially the bit about sneaking into a crack of reality to live uninterrupted. |

I really doubt he cares about the hornet's nest he stirred up or he's happy about how many people he trolled, the thread is 19 pages long, he's probably proud. I didn't realize until now he was 15, I said and thought tons of stupid sh** when I was that age too. |

as having AS has its ups and downs but people should not fake having it. |
I was beginning to realize that you were just trolling to see what kind of trouble you can stir up a few days again. You are problably the biggest faker on here. True there may be a few fakers on here. You have a few fakers on any forum. But you are stating as if practically everyone are fakers here. And yes mmcool, I notice you did a disappearing act after your 2nd post.

This is the fourth reply so far I found. You must be really proud of yourself, as*hole, for stirring up trouble. _________________ With the breeze in my hair and a backhoe loader under my butt, digging and scooping as a part time job, I would be a really happy person.

That was very well said. Now that this thread has descended into personal attacks it's probably time to let it die.
And really - resorting to personal attacks?
Is that the best way to behave? _________________ Giraffe: a ruminant with a view. |
