| I am a sixteen year old male who apparantly has mild to moderate autism. Althrough most autism people have some kind of special talent, I have none that is of particular interest. As well as the problem that I have outlined above, I also suffer from some major problems such as social anxiety disorder, depression, anxiety, low self-steem, low intelligence level, levels of ignorance, difficulty concentrating, etc. Because of my problems listed above, I believe I have only 8-10 years before I kill myself, if my life is heading nowhere. That saves trouble later when I am old and regretting the thinges I have done in life. I do have some interests such as looking at the internet and I enjoy sport, but that is about it. There are no positives about myself and lots of negatives. I also have a dislike for humans in general and dislike most of them{including myself}. Because I go to a private school, I do not get bullied much, althrough I suspect people are saying nasty comments behind my back. That is a bit about myself for you. |

welcome to our good little club, HH
rather than offing yourself in 8-10 years, it would be a lot better if you used that time to learn how to help your fellow man somehow. what goes around eventualy comes around, so if you do your best with what you have, to help other people in need, you will be remembered and appreciated and helped when you are in need. someone will remember what good you did for them and reciprocate. i didn't believe this when i was your age, and indeed the lightbulb didn't come on in my head until i was well into middle age. but i can tell you from experience that this is the truth, this is how the universe works. you have to dig deep within yourself to find the goodness to put out into the universe before you get any goodness back from the universe. if you do this consistently every chance you are aware of an opportunity, by the time you get to be my age the returns will outweigh what you put out on a daily basis. since i started out late in life i don't expect to see such a return in my own life, but it is not too late for you. |

Thank you very much.

You do know that it is pretty hard to help humans out when you have a dislike of human beings. I would rather help other animals out then our species which a lot more problems of its own. No thanks, not at the moment. I am a selfish person but what can I do about it. Bad luck if I kill myself why do I care and why would other people care.

I have already done that and all I have come up with is some negatives about myself. As I said earlier reflecting when I am a old man would be heart breaking to myself. Dying at a young age means I don't have to go through that process. Right now I am in a bad mood so do not push me. You really expect me to live lonely all my life. No! I will not allow that to happen. The only point I agree with on you're whole post, is that it is not late. But if 10 years later it is too late which is most likely, my body will be rotting in a casket lost and forgotten. |

there is no one with no positive traits. i barely know you and i already see that you are probably kind to animals, a very positive trait. i'm sure you have others. you're just not used to thinking about yourself in a positive way. do you do well in any subjects in school? are you good at any hobby?
do you have a pet that you take care of? if so, you are responsible, another postive characteristic. if you don't have a pet, i think you should get one. it would be good for you and the pet. if you can't get a pet, arrange to spend time with an animal. my friend's daughter used to walk the book store dog. you could volunteer at an animal shelter.
you could be very depressed. getting help for that might change your outlook tremendously. |

Yes I do have a pet cat that I have had for nearly eight years. Most animals I like{except for humans and other animals}. I am not getting help by the way
