It will be like the remake of total recall, a disaster.

A remake of the original Alien would be complete blasphemy!!!
It would be like someone daring to re-make Star Wars.
The original Alien is a suspense classic. It is best to just leave it as it is.

I think hollywood needs to apply some real creativity and come up with new ideas rather than pee all over someone elses work for a quick buck.

If they did a remake of Alien and based in on option one with the teenagers crashing on the planet and discovering the alien eggs then towards the end of the film they could find out one of them is a robot programmed by their parents to ensure they don't come back again.

Alien and Aliens cannot be touched!
I wouldn't mind though, that some gifted director would make a remake of the third and fourth. I never liked them anyhow.

But I'm afraid that there will be a remake of Alien and Aliens in the future. I think that the audience in 20-30 years will get so fed up by anachronism issues that they will cry out for a remake just in order to satisfy their technology frustrations.

If they made it with teenagers?... no I couldnt possibly imagine any director wanting to do a remake with teenagers. That would be a sin.

There were some teenagers in AVP 2 requiem. In spite of it being a crappy movie, it just didnt deserve to have those lame teenagers walking around making the movie even worse.
And off course when all this is said, I mean absolutely no disrespect for all teenagers in general and especially not those on this forum. Wink
