Hey everyone,
My name is Richard, 22 years old now, I'm from Holland, and my diagnose is PDD-NOS.
I came here to discuss many subjects about autism, and to talk/write to people who have the same typical daily problems as i do. I spend much of days at home now, because it's very hard to find a workplace, with a employer who wants someone to work with autism.
Hope to learn much in this forum, and feel free to ask me some questions!
Richard. |

Welcome to the forum, Richard! That's very sad to hear about your job situation, my life is pretty similar. I hope you enjoy sharing and venting on this forum with others. |

Thanks for your reaction!
Sure, ..i watched very much upon this forum, and I read a lot here..because i had to know that i wasn't the only one with 'shortcoming' behaviours. But i learn everyday about myself, and it tooked me very long to accept my diagnose. Now it has a place, and i'm ready to share it by others.
Oh,,...have to say that you seems really kind to me.. hehe.
I'm sorry for you, ..that you're in the same situation. |

| Richard, I am new here as well. I am sorry to hear about your present situation. I have somewhat of an understanding to an extent regarding your job/employment situation. I myself have had similar issues, but more centered around holding jobs without losing them in some way. These days its not easy for most as it would seem, and especially for those who have to cope with more in life versus others. I happen to be 30, and I am in the process of finding a job as well. My objective is more career oriented now however. So it can be a bit challenging, even with a college degree. Try and stay positive even if it sounds or can seem ridiculous. Just remember that many people will take the time to talk, and are happy to offer constructive contributions to conversation. |
