Socially Awkward Penguin > Linux Penguin. Wink

Socially Awkward Penguin is Linux Penguin! One is the professional life, and the other is the social life of the same penguin.

Not sure if it's mocking us or educating non-Aspie people but they can be humourous.

I think it's supposed to be relatable. I think that's why it's such a popular meme - it's a way for socially awkward people to have a "oh my gosh, that happens to me, too!" moment. There are a lot of socially awkward people... and they tend to frequent the internet.

It's funny and sad at the same time.

This does mock some of us, for better or worse :/

I can relate to EVERY one I saw on that website.

The annoying childhood friend one reminds me of MY friends. That was probably me, too, I just never knew it. Wink

Can't most people relate to many of the penguin memes?
A friend of mine said he felt more social because he can't relate to most of them.
But...
I feel more socially connected and less weird because I CAN relate to like..most of them.
And I don't really feel like I am horribly pathetic. Maybe I am.

Did you know there's also an "Aspie Alligator" meme? I like it quite a bit. Smile Though it's definitely not as good as Socially Awkward Penguin.

I just made one. Gonna post this to reddit. http://memegenerator.net/instance/23874682
