Can't really be left-wing and support a classical liberal state though can you?

Sort of short of the funds it would take to travel there - like as in all of it. Laughing

Personally I am an independent thinker who thinks for myself, but I lean towards the United States Republican Party and need to consider registration. I believe in the American constitution.

Trust me, we liberals believe in the constitution, too. I suppose it's just a matter of how either wing interprets it.

Until I was about 16, I was a conservative who didn't think straight.

After I joined a school group, urged by my psychiatrists,
I became a liberal and still am to this day.

I used to be a liberal, but turned to conservatism.

A democratic socialist is a good thing to be. I just wish we had a major party that reflected that political philosophy. Till we get one, I'll vote Democrat.

Neoconservative on foreign policy, moderate conservative on pretty much everything else. Lefties don't agree with many of my positions, but neither does the right, because I don't play within their framework of "reality."

For example I don't know of anyone who supports both mass gun ownership and mass gun control, or allowing any form of living arrangement to be legally acceptable, including incest and polygamy, with all the benefits of traditional marriage, except only the one man one woman pairing is the only one that can use the term marriage. I also support "smart sprawl" which I've been told is an oxymoron, but I think its doable, I support taxing the 1% much much higher and think we should be increasing tax brackets between the rich and the ultra rich, but I'm also for increasing the taxes on the 99% as well and cutting back entitlements dramatically (which largely support the 99%). I wish someone would campaign to dramatically lower waist in every aspect of American life, and I have many other positions that are either middle of the road, or just non-conforming to either side.
