sounds like me.

I remember when I was in school I used to walk around barefoot Very Happy

i used to lecture barefooted... Laughing

Very Happy went barefoot in the snow once as well Smile

walking on flip-flops in the snow is rather difficult and slippery, but if one is careful it is fine.

True Smile but why wear flip flops when you can go totally barefoot Very Happy

I knew a guy from Australia who took his barefooting seriously. He'd met a woman from No. Hollywood via the internet. Having saved up some money, he flew to America and they got together. I met them and their young child when I stayed in a motel in No. Hollywood. He went everywhere barefooted. One day I was in a library in Hollywood. He was standing outside. I'd noticed his wife was in the library. He said he was forbidden from entering the library without shoes. I asked him if he wasn't scared of getting splinters and broken glass in his feet. He said it happens all the time but he just doesn't wear shoes because he doesn't like them. It must've been incredibly challenging because he didn't drive and took buses everywhere. Can you imagine the constant stares? I'm sure the police must've spoken to him on several occasions, too. I wouldn't be surprised.

Barefeet at home... because I'm Asian. Laughing

I used to hate the sensation of wearing socks back in elementary school, but I have gotten used to wearing socks now. I'm just picky with the types of socks I will wear.

high tight socks and comfy slippers indoors below 70 degrees, barefoot above 70, but outdoors always must have shoes and socks on. when i was younger i'd wear flipflops sans socks outdoors, though, barefoot but for the 1/2" of rubber protecting my tender feet from the nasty ground roughness.

I have bad circulation, and if I didn't wear socks all the time, my feet would freeze.

Socks most of the time. And only short, under the ankle socks at that.

I love being barefoot. It's more natural feeling to me, and I like the airflow and freedom of movement it grants.

I walk in my yard barefoot, including on the sharp rocks of my gravel driveway.
I don't care if it hurts at all - I don't have any lasting damage from it, and it makes me feel better than walking around outside with shoes on.

If I'm out of the house for a longer outing, I'll still wear shoes of course - but only for the sake of civility.

Barefeet at home, of course. As long as the temperature allows it. Outside I almost always wear shoes, but I tried walking barefeet and it's okay. I don't like clothing anyway so when I'm home I prefer to wear as little clothing as acceptable, even none.

I like wearing just socks on their own.
