lol contradiction right?
nope, just be gruff, respectful of others' gruffness, and sweat and work like hell.
You are now hanging with the jocks.

I'm currently in conditioning for JV football. Tough as hell but with my multiple disorders (ADHD, SAD, Depression, and of course AS)
it's something to wake up for in the morning.

It's nice that I'm becoming one of the men I have admired since I was 12 years old and realized I couldn't shoot hoops for $hit.

Also, it seems to bolster social skills as there is this AS guy, year younger than me, who honestly seems like 95% normal (the 5% abnormality coming from his speech impediment).

The one bad thing about someone like me playing is getting called a "freshman" (as most people join right after the 8th grade,as well as my obvious social immaturity (still better than most of the freshmen and some sophomores)

I'm doing what I couldn't do in high school, yeah. Just being an adult jock just makes you a nerd.

Course it's possible.

Besides , 90% of nerds I came across are either NT or just hiding it.

I wouldn't call myself a jock, but I do play sports. I play soccer and softball recreationally, and I play basketball for my school. I'm currently training for my first ever season of cross country.

I don't see myself as a jock because I am female. I do love sports though. I am a distance runner and a nordic skiier. I also love to watch hockey and football.
