Gwen means "white" in Welsh. But speaking of Welsh, I always thought Harold Godwinson's queen, Elfgyfu, had the ugliest name until I learned how to pronounce Welsh and realized it was more like "Elvgavie", which actually sounds kind of pretty.
I saw a Grand Prix race on tv yesterday and one of the guys was named Will Power. |
