This RP takes place in my own fantasy world of Chitheria Tempus. It's basically is a Continent that's bigger than Europe, but smaller than Africa. In short, it has two types of magic: Celestial and Necromancy. Necromancy(which raises dead people) is used by the zombies, while Celestial is used by everyone else and is a bane to zombies and heals people. The minimum age is 15, the age at which a person becomes an adult in Chitheria Tempus.
In the world, their are nine races to choose from:
Humans:These are just humans. Simple and flat. They are around 5 feet tall.
Goblins: They look like humans that are 3 and a half feet tall with no nose(instead two nostrils), pointy ears, and as many hair and eye colors as there are in the rainbow.
Dwarves: Click here to find more on them.
Elves: Click here to find more on them.
Zombies: Remnants of humans infected by a disease that made them weak, incapable to breed and grow older, and not be able to heal wounds. They infect others with it.
Orcs: These creatures look like 5 foot tall goblins with a tail that has a tuft on it. Tusks replace the canines, giving a resemblance of a boar. They hate both elves and dwarves, but are not evil. They are, like every race besides the Zombies, grey in their alignment.
Frog-men: These ugly creatures look like inflated, 4 and half feet tall versions of the tailess amphibian they're named after. They enjoy wet areas like marshes and rain forests.
Rat-men: These are the best assassins, and look like humanoid versions of the rodent. Their hair is usually dark.
Kobolds: These small fox-like humaniods are covered in scales and are hairless(even though they are mammals.) They are also the best makers of traps ever known, and can even make portable versions of traps that usually are only found in dungeons.
The Rules:
1. Nothing obscene. Sure, you can have sex, but don't describe it beyond PG-13 levels.
2. No Munchkins and Mary Sues. They don't make good characters and people will not like to play with you.
3.Don't make too many references to other media. That will throw people off when reading about your character.
4. No using weapons beyond the technology of 15th century Europe or Magic besides Necromancy and Celestial.
5. Keep your goals and achievements realistic. I don't want to read about a princess that was saved by a handsome prince and lived happily ever after, because that's cliched and not fitting with the Low-Fantasy setting. This is a world of political strife and people who are equally bad to each other, using morally ambiguous methods. The only thing everyone is fighting is zombies.
6. Don't make your character a stereotype of the race from another RPG like D&D, because this is different from it in many ways. It's like comparing Warhammer to D&D: similar, but very different.
7. No god-modding(saying you kill this guy and he's completely dead and he had no chance.) It makes people not want to play with them if you immediately kill off their character. The only one who has the power is th GM, and it can only be used on characters that are unsavory, like Mary Sues, Munchkins, and God-modders.

If any one is wondering, I am actually making a new version of the character format I usually use. Behold:

Name:
Gender:
Race:
Age:
Facial Structure:
Hair Style*:
Hair Color*:
Skin Color:
Eye Color:
Height:
Weight:
Region**:
Background:

*With Kobolds and Frogmen, this applies instead to the belly(hair style isn't used.) Elves don't use this at all, and therefore is not added.**This is where your from.

Once done creating your character, you can begin the game.

Also, since most people like an example for Characters, here it is:

Name: Herisa
Gender:Female
Race: Kobold
Age: 15
Facial Structure: Her nose is longish, and the eyes narrow and set deep into the skull. Her ears are pointed horizontally and have a few nicks on them. However, she is pretty.
Hair Color: greenish yellow.
Skin Color:blue
Eye Color:purple
Height:3 feet
Weight: 37 lb
Region: A town in the Neutral Zone.
Background: Born on October the Third, she always aspired to be a warrior, even though the idea was laughed at. Her father taught her how to work traps(what a normal kobold parent does) at the age of 12 and realized that she could combine both her aspirations of being a warrior with her trapping skills. After training for 3 years in both skills, she ran away from home due to her parents trying to get her what they considered "just the right boy" for her. After stumbling upon a cave, she made her home there. A goblin was sent to find her, but got lost and was killed by a trap she set in case a wild animal(or search party/bandits, as she didn't want any of those things.)

I will wait until there is at least 2 other characters to play.

To get people more in the setting, I will talk about the Nations. Here they all are:

Sarindale: This is the forest realm of the Elves. The society is a monarchy which makes every elf an upper class citizen and everyone else lower class. The population is only 20% elven, however. The rest of the populace is mainly composed of humans. They interrigate and burn orcs and dwarves.
Dornakun: The Dwarven States under the earth. A communist dictatorship rules over the land, and every dwarf must work. Kobolds and rat-men are considered the best two races besides dwarves, and are treated as such. Goblins, however, are treated poorly due to being connected with orcs, and humans are considered tall and oafish. Orcs and elves are to be killed on site.
Galunsrak: The Orc Nation of the plains. They are a democratic society, with leaders chosen by a counsel. They treat everyone equally, with the exception of elves and Dwarves, which are to be scared off the territory.
Telsiam: This is the Country of the South, ruled by humans. It has a government run solely by money, but is also home to the most diverse culture. Of course, bigotry exists due to the hatred elves, dwarves, and orcs have for each other.
Crathoria: The Zombie lands. Here is the ruins of an ancient kingdom, now occupied by the damnable creatures the shuffle and infect. No known law but that of the King, a dark and powerful Necromancer that has ascended to a state of were he is almost impossible to kill. However, he has to deal with politics, which causes the king to wonder why he even took the job, since the paperwork is...well, not pretty.

If you don't want to be part of any of these factions, you can choose to come from one of the many towns that are in the neutral zone(since no one owns it really.)

If anyone wonders I feel like nobody is paying attention to this and passes it as a silly little fantasy world that is a D&D expy. Can't you at least look at it?

Just to pass the time, I'm going to make comments on different aspects of the world.

The primary theme is that everyone besides the zombies(which are evil) are pretty GREY. As in, they aren't evil or good, but neutral.Fantastic Racism is also pretty clearly established between the orcs, elves, and dwarves.

Are there functioning RP's on WP?

I'd probably be a human magician in the orc nation  but I'd hate to commit myself with a detailed background if I'm going to be the only one.

Your setting reminds me a bit of ASOIAF :P

I don't know what your talking about, but people who use celestial-type magic are actually called battle-priests, since Celestial magic comes from the Gods, and only those who only devote their attention to that god achieve such an honor. Also, it is more like the magic a cleric uses in D&D.

A Song of Ice and Fire.

The two main similarities are that Westeros is also a low fantasy setting, with loads of betrayal and ambiguous motives and political intrigues going on. The zombies could be compared with the Others, who are (as far as I know, their motives are unclear) against life in general, and have a way to turn people into wights, similar to zombies. Like, the kingdoms all fight among themselves but, in the end, the true enemy are them.

I do not know what kind of magic do DnD clerics use :P.

Also, are zombies capable of thought? What is their motivation to infect other people? Why do they choose to follow the Necromancer, or are they bound to his will?

They do have thought, and their motivation has been lost in the depths of their leader's mind, since he didn't record it. However, necromancers have the same control as you would of a human.

The magic the D&D clerics use come from their god and is used to fight undead and heal people.

I haven't read 'A Song of Ice and Fire.' In fact, it was suppose to be a fantasy universe similar to Warhammer, Dwarf Fortress, and D&D, but different. I hope you understand it is just a coincidence.

A note:

Since not many people look here, I will make more characters. One for each day would be good, I think.

Name: Kalji
Gender: Female
Race: Orc
Age: 16
Facial Structure: Her face is well-defined and has strong cheekbones. Her face is round and her eyes are neither big nor small. The nostrils are close together, and are small.
Hair Style: Her hair is dressed in a ponytail.
Hair Color: Pink
Skin Color: Pale tan
Eye Color: Purple
Height: 4'8"
Weight: 95 lbs
Region: Galunsrak
Background: Born on December the Sixteenth, she learned how to become a battle-priest. After eight years of practice since the age of seven, she was able to go with a group of 200 warriors on her first campaign. It was against the zombie force that was threatening their home. After a month of traveling, they found the foe. Kalji was able to kill eight zombies before she was hit by an arrow. Luckily, it wasn't anything to bad, and Kalji was able to heal it before taking out another.
Then a necro-mage came on the battlefield. He summoned back the archer that hit her. However, Kalji was able to reach him and decapitate both the mage and the archer. Then the enemy turn and ran.
She then turned to her own side. Out of the force, fifteen fell to the zombies and had to be burned. They then came back to their lands.
Once their, they found that the enemy had not ran away, but was regrouping for another attack, this time from a position that would be "acceptable." Then Kalji, with a group of five, including a kobold, goblin, and human, went into a group of hills, to hide from the site of the foe.
They then saw another necromage, accompanied by ten zombie soldiers. Then the goblin, a sniper, shot the necromage straight through the brain with his crossbow. The rest of the zombies turned in the direction of the smaller group. Then the human, who was an infantry man, guarded the kobold, a gunner. Kalji and the other, an orc beserker, charged into the foe.
The kobold shot one of the zombies through the chest while the infantryman chopped the head of another clean off while the gunner was reloading. The goblin sniper shot a zombie about to attack Kalji from behind as she took out a dwarf zombie. The beserker beheaded one zombie soldier before putting one of his axe blades in the chest of another. Soon all of the foes were dead. They then saw another group, this time of fifteen, attacking from behind which the sniper sited. The beserker then charged the foe, slashing and slaying them. Kalji healed the beserker while he did his work. Then none of the monsters were left.
Five months later, the small group joined an elite squad. The scouts had sited a force of five hundred dwarves heading their way. The squad, which had only thirty people in it (not including Kalji and her group), Then moved towards the approaching army's base. As it happened, the dwarves had taken residence in an old fort. Then she, with the squad, scaled the walls and got onto the ramparts. Then the beserker sneaked behind a lookout, and snapped his neck before dumping the body into the moat. Kalji found the sound of the neck snapping and how calm the beserker was about the whole thing disturbing, but nonetheless, she decided not to tell them.
All the squad members beside the kobold gunner, the beserker, the human infantryman, the goblin sniper and Kalji claimed the ramparts secretly. Kalji and her team, meanwhile, got into the central part of the base via the roof. The passage was blocked by ten guards that they caught by surprise. They attacked them, but all fell. They then moved deeper in the base until they arrived upon a window that looked down upon the leader. Kalji then smashed her way in and tackled the general, finishing off him while the beserker silenced the guard. Then they looked out at the passage that one of the doors look out off. Then the beserker silently opened the door and chopped the head off one of the guards that was near it. The other guard, who was surprised, was killed by the goblin. Then they sneaked out into their land again.
In travel time, it took them four months to reach the fort and then come back again. After a month, Kalji started to feel strange. She then realized that she was pregnant when she told her temple leader how she felt. After her birthday and three months, she gave birth. Since she doesn't want to leave fighting, the child is in the care of her mother.

Another note: since this still has not grabbed anyone's attention, I am thinking of ending the creating of more guys and getting an account for a site that will actually do it. What are your suggestions?

Also, an orc wearing modern day clothes:

More Notes about races:

While goblins, kobolds, dwarves, and rat-men are the only races that use guns, only dwarves have cannons. Elves are the only people that use chariots, and rat-men are the only people who use steamships.

As you see, people aren't high tech. The most advance thing, as you can also see, are the steamships. Just saying.

EDIT

I think the elves should be a cast society divided by skin color: The purple skinned ones are Altogens, the Royals and Lords. The gold-skinned ones are Merogens, the Merchants and Diplomats. The gray skinned ones, Milogens, the Military. Also, anyone in the fantasy world can use guns now too.

I am also adding a new type of magic: Druidic. It is practiced by, if you haven't guessed, druids. It allows you to get wood without having to chop down trees and control wild animals.
