Not sure if anyone remembers me, but I've posted threads here regarding my two year long job search and my trouble with job interviews. Well, I thought I'd do an update letting you know that I've finally landed something. It pays much better than any offer I've gotten, and is very flexible so I can still continue to go to college full time. Best part is that they interviewed and hired me in the same week!

I was extremely depressed and was starting to doubt myself until I got this job offer. I have always figured my AS was interfering with my interview performance and I was losing hope. I overcame my awkwardness by pretending to be like people I admire, and it seemed to work. I also did some meditation to ease my nerves before the interview. I hope all of you who like me are desperately searching, find something soon! Feel free to vent here too, I can definitely relate! Sad

Congratulations!

Hehe, interviewed and hired on the same week! That is exactly what happened to me when I got my current job. It has been 2 months and I still feel good about myself when I think about it. You will probably feel ecstatic for a few months, too. Very Happy
