Well just last week....
I wrote my boyfriend a romantic poem and put it in a handmade card and gave it to him with his fav block of chocolate and presented in a red ribbon.
This is the poem. Don't laugh 
Today is not a special day,
Not more special than any other.
However every day you are in my life,
is more special than any other.
I love each second I spend with you,
it is almost torture when I cannot.
Each text you send I cherish,
And every email to me you wrote.
I write this to show I love you,
to show you how much I care.
You are a very special person,
You are my big sexy giant bear. |

That was actually a really good poem
Though this made me laugh:

Reminds me of this guy who wrote this sob story about a woman who left him. At one point he describes crying over her tweets, which made me laugh so hard I almost fell off my chair. Just imagine a guy pulling his hair, rolling on the floor in despair yelling "THOSE TWEEEEEEETS" at the top of his lungs.

we communicate mostly by texting and email because that is how we roll. go go asperger's
I am a total romantic. I leave notes for him on his pillow, i send him chocolate hearts when he is sick. It is part of who i am.

I assume he means comforting her when she weeps (out of sadness in general), rather than weeping specifically over him.

I'm sorry, but right now I have a dirty mind and I laughed at the wording of the title, though I did actually understand what you meant.  It cheered me up though.
But anyway, I think it would just be being there for her, in my case. If I had someone, that is.
