Welcome, welcome! I got a bit overwhelmed at all the posts in the Roleplaying thread (no offense, I'm sure it's great!" so I decided to do a create an adventure story, set in an alternate reality from my original one! Every so often, I'll present a bunch of options, and the users of WP get to decide what'll happen next! After a goo number of votes I'll tally up the scores and continue! If only Alex could program in mini-polls...

Anyway, here goes!

Koise slumped in his seat. It was late at night, and it was the worst scenario ever: There was nothing on TV. The best thing was a documentary about Sperm Whales doing what probably earned their name. The embers in the fireplace were dimming, and the candles were reaching the end of their wax.

Then Koise heard a knock on the door.
"Who the heck visits at this time of night?!" he said to himself. He got up and went to the door.

As soon as he reached it, a letter slid under the door. It looked old and tattered, and as if it would break into a thousand pieces if he just shook it a little bit. He then opened the door to find out who delivered the message. On the doorstep was...

A squirrel. Holding a nut.

Koise let out a frustrated sigh, and walked back to the lounge. He contemplated on whether he should read it now or go to bed.

What should Koise do next?

A) Read the letter now, it could be something important (like the electricity bill)
B) Leave it for tomorrow
C) Throw it in the fire

Leave it for tomorrow...even if it is a bill, you couldn't pay it at night anyway.

Koise opened up the envelope and pulled out a piece of paper. On it was written

"Dear Koise,
Sorry I haven't wrote to you in so long, but I've been kinda busy. I'm having a bit of trouble with something important in my town, and I need your help. Bring Marilyn, her welding skills will be handy for the trouble.

Sincerely,
Bob"

Bob had been Koise's friend ever since they were in kindergarten. They did everything together, from playing games to pulling pranks on the teacher's during school. Bob developed into a weapon's maker over the years and got a job in a town several miles away a few years ago, but he and Koise were able to use letters to keep in touch.

Koise stuffed the letter into the envelope and pit it in his backpack by the fireplace, and packed in various other things, such as food, some soda, and other essential items. He then made his way to bed and promptly fell asleep.

What should Koise dream about?

A) One of the endless falling forever dreams
B) Having a T-rex attack the town
C) Nothing at all
D) Something from his past

B) Having a T-rex attack the town

This may sound odd, but it sounds kind of fun destroying a town as long as it isn't mine or anyone's town Laughing

T-Rex of course! Sure a falling dream might be mildly interesting, and nothing might reflect our own dreams, and the past might create some character development, however, T-rexes tend to be brutal and violent and fun and that is what we want.
