Just thought it might be an idea to have a thread for people to request others to roleplay one to one, either here or on a messenger. I personally prefer one to one...so, I shall start...
I want someone to roleplay me one to one either in a Harry Potter scenario, a Doctor Who scenario or some invented, but fantasy related scenario. I have a tendency to play angsty but intelligent and creative characters, and to wish for my roleplay partner to be dominant and mentor like, or at least heroic in some manner.

Would my Outcast fanfic be considered Roleplay?

Graelwyn - wish we could play in real life. I think you'd enjoy some of what I see. Can't really do it online though - I like to be in real surroundings. My reality is what many people play at.

I understand that. I see a lot also, but do my best to ignore it now.

No worse than playing any other way. Except that you end
up believing.

Close enough, I would think. Just describe what it is.

Okay, well it's pretty much a peice of fiction I write as I go along. Every so often I stop writing and pose a question (usually plot-central) to the audience, and they pick which one they want to happen or what they think about it. The option with the most votes (if it's not an opinion question) will be the one that occurs next.

What makes it Roleplay for me is that my characters I pretend are me with their traits to give realistic results and all that. You know, I have to pretend I'm in that world to make the story happen, which can be quite fun.

I think the polls that I put in give exterior user input as well, which is another characteristic of Roleplay.
