You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

What would these results mean? Been told here I must be a "half pint".

Just another long-haired stoner / musician.

The Rolling Stones are on drugs, just like every other 70s and 80s band.

I have had trouble for years, both in employment and socially, of being called a stoner. Because of my monotone voice and odd behavior. I am not a stoner. When someone is different, the most common default to "explain" them is drugs. Bull@$&$^#(#$)t!.

Fnord, why do you use the term "long haired"? Are you meaning it to be derogatory? It is bad to cast stones at those different from your pre-programmed ideals. This is the type of behaviour that causes so many troubles for Aspies!

There are innumerable examples walking around today that show why the most common default reason to explain their behavior is drugs, not the least of which are rock-and-roll musicians.

My friend who might be Autistic too really likes Dinosaur Jr. so I will try to get into them since they sound like a fun band and I love indie music.

Fnord, why not just explain odd behavior or appearance as the work of the devil? Maybe all Aspies are possessed? I don't think so. You are using the modern scapegoat. People are different. The best artists are very different.

There may not be a "Devil", but drugs are very, very real.

Being "Artistic" is one of the biggest, yet paradoxically lamest excuses for recreational drug use that I have ever heard.

Fnord spent a good chunk of the....80s(?) in the US military, which might account for the cultural "long-haired" reference.

I think we've all seen enough interviews with "artists" who destroyed themselves with "recreational" usage to understand the rest of the above comments.

Creativity requires neural difference. Not all neural difference is from drug use. FUC!#@$@*$^@*$&! broad generalizations equating neural diversity with drug use.

<-- U.S. Navy Veteran, 1991 to 1996, Honorably Discharged.

Have you ever heard of the infamous "27 Club"?

< Here's the Link >

Some of the world's most famous "artists" are on that list.

Count how many times "Cause of Death: Overdose" is mentioned.

Elvis, Joplin, Jackson, Morrison, Cobain ...

I don't think Fnord did, he did mention that quite a few artists engaged in heavy drug use.

Fnord, I was'nt sure on the timeframe, and I never meant to imply it was'nt an honorable discharge (thought never occured to me).

Edited to add Fnord instead of "he.

Who cares if you are a veteran? That has nothing to do with this. Maybe people with your hateful mentality made those in the 27 club so miserable they overdosed? But regardless, this is a small sample of thousands upon thousands of artists.
