My family and I enjoyed the first episode and look forward to the next. Diane's aspie portrayal was good but my wife has a very strong issue with her driving style. For a strong rule abider she feels her wild driving is at odds with that. Does anyone else have a take on that.

(I'm the aspie and she most assuredly is not one but ironically she has an extreme sense of following the rules)

that "don't touch the radio" part is so me.
but yeah... her driving is too erratic. i mean, i like to go fast...but only to a certain extent with all the rules of the road to deal with.

maybe alex should have asked about that when he interviewed the actress...

You can explain it by the fact that she's a cop on the way to a crime scene. the fast driving was added in to give more action to the pilot.

It wasn't so much the fast as the erratic that seemed to jar and the Lieutenants warning seemed to indicate that this was norm.
