SPOILER ALERT.READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I'm sorry but I don't know how to do that spoiler tag. Anyway I just read an article concerning the new TF movie. It may not happen but here it is-

Optimus Prime might die but remember I said might because I didn't read the whole article to avoid further spoilers. But whether you knew this or not while watching this movie are you honestly surprised?

I mean Optimus Prime is killed, yeah like that's never happened before.

So it's gonna be a live action version of the animated film? Well with the Dinobots being in this and all.

Is it true Mark Wahlberg is playing a grown-up version
of the Sam Witwicky character in Transformers 4?

Tis true, sadly.

If you mean that he's playing Sam Witwicky himself then the answer is no. It's a completely new character. The film takes place 5-6 years after the last movie and in this movie Wahlberg has a teenage daughter. So it definitely can't be him.

Anything bad involving Optimus Prime would take away pretty much any suspense or surprise the movie may have.

Hmm, wouldn't surprise me. I searched online for spoilers and got a lot of footage of stuff blowing up on Michael Bay's sets.

this is my problem with the transformer movies, i wonder if someone could say what they think of my opinion.

The transformer movies arent about the transformers.

In the old cartoon movie the transformers were all individual and the camera was set more at a height that put the focus on the transformers and made them look slightly bigger than the size of humans in a normal movie.

it made the transformers seem like real robotic people.

the humans looked like samey looking midget rats. The movie was about the TRANSFORMERS though so that was all cool.

Michael bay films his transformer movies and focuses on the HUMANS. WTF.

So you look at the transformers from the perspective of humans, as these samey looking giants. They are just too big and too similar looking.

Imo, Micheal bay with all his unimaginative lack of insight doesnt film The TRANSFORMERS. He films, SAM WITWICKY meets the transformers. Like the transformers are just these crappy after thought. I mean, who gives a f**k about the humans in a transformers movie, it is NOT about them.

Thats why i dont think ill ever be excited about that idiots transformer movies.

And yes, i grew up with transformers the movie as my favorite movie and i do think Michael bay is an idiot that ruined my favorite childhood toys.

transformers the movie is the best movie ever :)

This is why Beast Wars is good no humans to deal with taking screentime (no the cave people don't count).

I'm excited only because given Michael Bay's work, I know exactly what I'm getting.

I will say that I liked the 1st Transformers movie most because it kept it simple, as far as Michael Bay is concerned. At least there all the Autobots did something to contribute to the plot.

of the last 3 movies ive watched, one was the new superman, the second was star trek into darkness, the third was pacific rim.

Its probably even representative of the movies they make right now. Sequels are big business, more than theyve ever been. Its a shame too because of the 3 i enjoyed Pacific Rim the most and it was the only truly new idea out of all of them.

then there's the endless marvel stuff that rehashes all the old stories that people have been reading for years.

What about the new star wars that i read disney are making?

just looking at a list of the last 10 films ive watched.... there's Dredd, a couple of james bond movies, spiderman, prometheus.... So very few original movies. even when its something relatively new its only a comic book adaptation or something.

Even the Beast Wars fan fictions I've read have more depth than Bayformers.
