I've been hoping to start dating after finishing my masters. Does anyone know of dating sites catered to people on the spectrum? Are there regular mainstream sites that people on the spectrum have had success with?

I have looked into Autism/Aspergers-based dating sites; They are quite inactive and disappointing, overall.

There are many mainstream dating sites, of course. They can be interesting and at times promising if you are able to first wade through the shameless self-promotion and greediness of the NT world.

I met a Woman on one of these sites last Winter and we dated heavily for a number of Months; It was quite enjoyable and pleasant.

So, it is possible for those on the spectrum to meet others online but it can be frustrating at times.

I tried PlentyOfFish.com a while back. I met a nice NT that I dated for a while. And, I met a bunch of nuts, fools, and crazies. As far as autistic dating sites go, they are usually just a bogus front (alternat marketing channel) for regular dating sites. I suggest networking through some Facebook sites. Wrong Planet has a Facebook group. Good luck!
