Life is great despite all the bumps and bruises. I got my diagnosis July 2012 and ever since then I have learned so many things about Aspergers. I have learned so many things about myself as well as other people who are on the NT spectrum. I finally understand why I am who I am, and why. And other why's too!

Like many of you on here I have had a difficult past. I had a horrible family life in childhood, got bullied, teased and used and abused by my own parents and grandparents. I didn't really get bullied by the kids I went to school with but the teachers sure did a lot of bad things. I did have three good teachers in that time though in different years. I was determined to go that extra mile even though it hurt and I graduated high school on time, somewhere in the middle of my class but I did it! That's more than I can say for some of the people in my family.

I have actually been on Wrong Planet for about three years but after a while I can't get into my accounts even with the passwords being correct. So I made a new one, then did it again. Hopefully I won't have problems with this one.

I love it here because when I am on here I feel like I am a real person too. Yall understand what I'm going through and vice versa. When I read what is written on WP I sometimes laugh till I can't breath :D and that's great because I need it. Finally I feel like I can connect to people who are just like me and I have never had that before. And I don't really even know any of you.... but somehow I do because we are the same in many ways.

At any rate, here I am again.

Welcome back! I too have been off for awhile and just returned last night. I'm in a marriage on the brink of divorce, have a zero social life, and have felt rejected, misunderstood, and alone until I came back here. I cant say I have a ton of friends on here either, but it feels good to be with my own kind again; I keep checking my emails for reply posts, lol. Again, welcome back!
