I feel like a phobia magnet. I have phobias of reptiles, fish, amphibians, needles, knives, wounds, stitches, hospitals, social situations, foreign objects showing up under my skin, horror movies, surgery, ghosts and vampires (although I KNOW the last two don't exist but I'm still petrified of them anyway). No one else I know has this many phobias but then they're all NT. Does anyone else here have a ton of things they're irrationally afraid of?

Yes. I have a ton of phobias. Basically I live in fear on a daily basis. Living in fear is more exhausting than socializing sometimes.

I am afraid of:
people I don't know
grocery stores
most foods
being in water
enclosed spaces
being inside at all (this is a serious problem sometimes)
moths
schools
hospitals
driving
being at work - what if there is an armed robbery? Where's the best place to be shot anyway?
The teeth of strangers
most authority figures including librarians and police
dentists - I need to go to one- but just can't do it!
nano particles used in clothing
...the list goes on and on and on.

It's completely normal.

One of my biggest phobias is people putting paper products in or near their mouths. Just the thought of it makes my skin crawl.

Heights
Dogs
Roaches
Bees,wasps, hornets
Sleeping in silence
Religious peoples
Forced eye contact
Etc

So yeah I'd say so. Heights and bugs are among the worst. I have night mates about riding over bridges...

Only one and it’s using public toilets.

It has had a significant influence in my life especially during school. I hated the toilets at school so much did it in my underwear instead so I didn’t have to go near the toilets. The phobia still affects me but not as often now.

The last time was during a river cruse with friends. I tried to get over my phobia but the toilet was on the back deck where a group of people were standing. Instead of just going in and doing it I did it in my underwear.

I've lived through periods of time where I feel intensely paranoid and anxious about everything if that counts. I have had phobias of specific things in the past but they have faded away with time. I'm still not entirely comfortable around some of the things I used to have phobias about though.

I have a lot of phobias and can't figure out how to handle most of them:

Strangers/Anthrophobia
Driving
People I love getting hurt/dying
Grocery Stores
Doctors
Getting Lost/Agoraphobia
ect.

Being phobic sucks.

Heights...I have this one real bad.
Some claustrophobia
Riding a bus
riding in a car pool, particularly in the back seat
Any religion/prayer...etc (I was raised Mormon and went though hell living that life. I resigned as soon as I learned how to do it).
Having to try to keep up with others...I fall behind easily.
Doctors....particularly needles and blood pressure cuffs. My veins almost disappear and my hands turn to ice. The nurse has a hell of a time getting blood out of me.
