The zune things makes sense up to a point because they were sold by microsoft and apple wasnt that used by regular customers yet at the time.

Not considering that sony was behind blu ray and playstation and could make playstation read only blu rays to boost their sales(exactly what happenned) doesnt seem that likely though.

Its amusing nonetheless.

Edit: also he only had one spot left on his gaming station. Amy offered to buy both for him and he refuses because of this.

I bought a Zune too. Worst mistake! That line really cracked me up.

I've never really watched this show, it seems funny, but that guy's voice hurts my ears. I suppose it's supposed to, but it might keep me from watching it anyway. Or do you just get used to it?

The thing I don't get is that he is a professor and therefore must make decent money, why not just buy both and the appropriate gaming stations. He has no real reason to debate as he can have it all if he wants too.

Hilarious. I might share his confusion, but thank goodness I don't feel compelled to buy either one.

Amy's deliberate, hyper use of Active Listening techniques was also quite funny.

Well, he claimed that he didn't have space for BOTH, and when Amy said to get another media center that had space, he bemoaned that he didn't know which one to pick.

Analysis paralysis.

Although I would suggest he choose to get both and work instead on picking an adequate replacement media center instead of wasting time trying to decide with game system to go with.

But the current media center works perfectly as intended.
There is literally no reason to change it and we do not know what effect said change may have in the enviroment

My daughter does the exact same thing when trying to choose which toy she wants us to buy for her.

I figure he could just buy a larger gaming station, my point goes deeper then the XBOX PS4 debate though, I don't get why they live in that little apartment or why Sheldon even needs a roommate. He should have the cash to avoid many of the issues he has in life. Then again he does not cash many of his paycheques as he is saving them for a time when the things he wants to buy are available as I recall. Unfortunately while he may be a genius it does not take one to realise that inflation is going to make his cheques almost worthless if he does not cash and reinvest them.

1) He needs someone to drive him around.
He tried to learn how to drive using the car simulator but it didnt go too well.
It is either Leonnard or Amy and I am positive he wants to avoid Amy freaking out if they move in together

2)He cant do change.
Even putting a tiny table on an unused spot was a hurdle for him.

3)Due to the fact that he cant drive he depends on others for groceries and whatnot. Having a room mate that helps him with this is most convenient for him.

As for why not get a new gaming station?
He doesnt like change, even if it means getting his way out of this huge internal debate

Never mind that.

A check is worthless after X days. No bank has to honor it. If Sheldon had that many uncashed checks, the payroll department would be on his case over it because they can't balance a ledger with outstanding checks.

Someone that smart would know better, but that's a failure of the show's writers.

I still think the show is hilarious.
Every show has ups and downs, better episodes and poorer ones. I think the show still has magic in it. Of course I'm loyal to a fault. If I like a show I'll stick to it, through thick and thin.
