I loved the older Arthur episodes - up to about 2003 or 2004. They took a nosedive, I agree, when WGBH lost the rights to produce the show. And when Arthur's voice suddenly sounded like a 6-year-old a couple of years later, that's when they went down the drain.
Most of the PBS shows nowadays really suck. Too much computer animation, too little live action. Super Why! is one today that is really annoying.
I also sort of got into Little Bear when it was still on Nickelodeon. That was another good kids show.
Cartoon Network stuff nowadays is annoying and sucks too. Annoying Orange? PUL-EEZE!

Honestly, I wouldn't know. I haven't watched cartoons on a regular basis since my preteen years, and most of the ones I've seen since then have actually been OK, for the most part. As well, I will honestly admit, there was a time when my stepsister watched a lot of those bad Disney/Nickelodeon teen sitcoms (like iCarly, Mr. Young, and whatever), and they actually became sort of a guilty pleasure of mine. I don't know why, but they're just so terrible that they're actually kinda fun to watch.

Just thinking about it now, I can definitely say that I don't care for the newer seasons of Spongebob Squarepants. They are just horrible, and not even in an entertaining sort of way either.

I really think Pokemon is one of the most overrated series ever. The characters are annoying and bland and the plots are repetitive.

I read on TV Tropes that Mr. Rogers is one of those people you just can't make fun of, unless you want people who grew up watching his show think you should be tarred and feathered. One exception was that Rap Battle episode I recently watched and Eddie Murphy's affectionate parody on SNL. Up here in Canada I think it's Mr. Dressup, who actually first appeared on Mr. Rogers, and some of the songs on his show was from Mr. Rogers. Say what you want about other kid's shows but I will defend Mr. Dressup's memory to the death if I have to! Although I've often wondered how someone can do the holey-pokey for several decades and not be sick of it or go crazy.

I haven't watched "kids TV" in several years, but the one that irritated me the most was "Barney & Friends". The gang behind "Animaniacs" did a great parody of it...

Lately, I have seen a lot of previously beautifully hand-drawn cartoons I grew up and liked with "modernized" by being 3d computer animated and made more "contemporary". The worst one I can think of is Franklin the Turtle, who now uses catchphrases like "coolio".

More generally, compared to Czech Republic, where the main kids show was one that featured various fairy tales and in between that, a moderator with a puppet who did things like advice kids on problems they wrote to the show, and the cartoons were for example: Little Mole (who explores human world and often is shocked by its ways, such as factories or stuffed animals in schools, where he saves a crying animal in a cage - so it can address pretty "serious" issues).

I found when we moved to Australia a lot more talking down to kids - the most known Australian program was Play School which involves reptitive singing and poorly done diy crafts lessons - or Wiggles - I hated that - they sing songs and there's four of them and the guy in purple shirt always falls asleep in odd places each episode - teehee how hilarious Or bananas in pyjamas "are you thinknig what i'm thinking" they ask each episode when they foil plans of the rat in the hat who owns a shop. I found the Czech kiddy shows to be a lot more stimulating because it didn't rely on catchphrases or repeated situations like the Australian ones do.

When I was a toddler, I watched The Wiggles. That was my favorite show.

I also watched Boobah and Teletubbies. I'm surprised that I'm not insane because of them. I absolutely despise those two shows now.

I get turned off to CGI kid's shows because I don't really like CGI cartoons.
I hate My Little Pony (have nothing against the fandom, though).
Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That, despite it's title, I don't hate.

Mister Rodgers Neighborhood. Way too creepy for it's own good

It's a toss up between "My Little Pony" and "Barney & Friends".

Or should I say, "It's a throw-up ..."?

Shows like Ed, Edd, and Eddy and every cartoon shown today. Freakin' Gravity Falls has zero point other than being creepy as hell(like other Disney shows).....
