I'm sort a of a big fan of Robert Anton Wilson, and he thought Crowley had some valuable insights, although I've never read him. Until I do, I'm not really qualified to comment.

I appreciate its utility in pissing off the belters.

I have read this "The Origin of Satan: How Christians Demonized Jews, Pagans and Heretics" by Elaine Pagels, In it she gives a good insight into the development of demons from the greek conception of a daemon which was a divine entity which had no connotations of evil or malevolence, to the present day conception where they are led by The Satan, and are responsible for all that is wrong with the world.

Like Bart Ehrman she traces the historical narrative rather than the theological one.

Thank you for the information, I will look into it!

Worshipping the devil will lead you to hell fire. God created us to worship Him and not the devil and anyone that worships the devil will be thrown in the hellfire. Please repent to God because you are committing the worst sins ever.

"(The Pagans), leaving Him, call but upon female deities: They call but upon Satan the persistent rebel! God did curse him, but he said: ?I will take of Thy servants a portion marked off; I will mislead them, and I will create in them false desires; I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and to deface the (fair) nature created by God.? Whoever, forsaking God, takes Satan for a friend, hath of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest. Satan makes them promises, and creates in them false desires; but Satan?s promises are nothing but deception." (Quran 4: 117?20)

He said: ?Because thou hast thrown me out of the way, lo! I will lie in wait for them on thy straight way: Then will I assault them from before them and behind them, from their right and their left: Nor wilt thou find, in most of them, gratitude (for thy mercies).? (God) said: ?Get out from this, disgraced and expelled. If any of them follow thee ? Hell will I fill with you all.? (7: 16?18)

And Satan will say when the matter is decided: ?It was God Who gave you a promise of Truth: I too promised, but I failed in my promise to you. I had no authority over you except to call you but ye listened to me: then reproach not me, but reproach your own souls. I cannot listen to your cries, nor can ye listen to mine. I reject your former act in associating me with God. For wrong-doers there must be a grievous penalty.? (14: 22)

^ As there is no god, no devil and we don't have souls, the whole issue is redundant and rather stupid.
