Really? Wouldn't have guessed that. Not that I know a lot about her apart from she's one of those famous for being famous types and she's done a lot of coke. It's going to start people going on about "trendy diagnoses" again. And there's more to diagnosis than knowing how many lightbulbs there are in a room so the articles about it are very misleading.

On the other hand if she is autistic, I'm glad she's got the correct diagnosis and I hope it helps her.

I don't think it has ever stopped. But I do hope it helps her

I dont really know much about her except that she was on of the first "famous for being famous" types in the current wave. Daryl Hannah has asperger's however and of course being a highly sucessful actor isn't exactly an aspie "red flag". Women also manifest aspergers very differently. She also would have had alot of early training due to her very VERY rich background. She actually happens to be Prince Charles' goddaughter.

on the face of it, I would have not pegged her as having it, but I decided to look at her in interviews and things, and she does seem to exhibit quite odd behaviour, but then she did do drugs and I don't know enough about drugs to know if the behaviour might be due to that

I am happy that she got a diagnosis, I am presuming she actually is autistic since it says she was diagnosed, its a shame she did not get the help earlier, the drugs could have been a coping mechanism. the paparazzi can be really terrible in the UK

Thank you very much for sharing this. I hope we can persuade Tara to join the Autistic rights movement. We could spread positive messages about autism through her.

I was thinking the same thing, KenG. Since Tara became a Patron for Speur-Ghlan prior to her official diagnosis, she may be interested in becoming more involved now. She could reach out to many people that would otherwise not be following Autistic rights issues.
