last year i liked to tie a ponytail near the top of my head, but slightly to my left. my hair was very thick there (and i guess it still is) and the ponytail made it look less thick to me.
of course i got strange looks because i did this at school. i called it my "palm tree".

Always up.

Can't stand the feel of hair around my face or tickling my neck. I used to use metal-free bands and a handful of bobby pins before I discovered the joy and freedom of hairsticks  The bobby pins would always slide out , even the industrial-strength ones. Once at the coffee shop I used to work at, I had an empty coffee pot on the counter and I heard a metallic tinkle. Sure 'nough, one of my pins had slid out right into the coffee pot 8O Had it had coffee in it, I'd never have heard it! :o And we wore hair nets too, but of course a bobby pin will go right through that.

Plus having POTS gives me issues with my heart racing when I have my hands above my head for long, so I've watched tutorials on youtube for quick and easy up-do's using hairsticks and I have one that I've perfected that I can do in about 4 seconds.

My hair is past the bottom of my bum. I don't like showing it off - it's not a religious thing but I just feel that my long hair is private and something only my future husband should see :)

I can't stand having my hair in my face. I usually have it tied back in a ponytail, and on days when I just want to leave it down I still wear a hairband to push my hair back out of my face. I wouldn't mind getting it cut short, as my curly hair is hard to maintain as it knots all the time, but I also like my long hair. At this point it reaches about halfway down my back, when I straighten it. Which is also a hassle. My mom says that my hair would be fine if I put product in it but I absolutely abhor the feel of it.
