Whats a good dating site for aspies like me

i am a 18 year old, i like video games, anime and computers.

i am socially awkward and when ever i try to meet someone new in person i coward out.

i deal with certain small talk but i cannot approach someone and talk to them (when i was looking for directions it took me over 20 minutes to gain courage to ask someone)

I would like to know the answer to this question too.

Maybe I should make my own answer ie make an au aspie/autism dating site. Let me figure out if I can find some time next month.

There have been dating sites before for people with autism ( not Australia specific ) but as far as I know sadly all of the in the end failed.

The sad truth is that there are many, many single men with autism and in comparison only a few single women with autism, even less who would go on a dating website. You're probably going to have to accept the fact that it's very likely you'll not find a partner who can fully understand to you, but that doesn't mean you can't find someone who can love you for who you are.

My suggestion would be to find a legit dating agency for your area. It will cost some money but you'll find serious people who are worth your time more easily there. You also do not have to take the initiative, which is hard for most of us. Instead you will be matched and if both you and your match are interested you can meet at some place. Internet dating is kind of a mess that is hard to get involved with if you are not in the loop, especially with autism.

I was thinking a site more like adultmatchmaker.com.au but if there is such a disparity between the sexes then that wouldn't work either.

It's a sorry state of affairs so to speak.

I am a 23yo aspie from Australia who likes video games, anime and computers too and around 5 years ago I had the exact same thought and decided that at 18 I would not bother with a dating site.
I set myself the minimum requirement of being 26yo before I joined any sites and even then I decided perhaps speed dating would be better (yeah a scary prospect).

It is my personal opinion that at 18 you should not bother with a dating site, instead look for groups that are interested in similar things to you, expand your interests or work to become more confident in yourself.
Now back to your question: "Whats a good dating site for aspies like me?"
I would agree with qFox, internet dating does appear to be a mess for aspies, if your serious a legit matching service would be best although ( especially at 18 ) I would wait until you have you sorted before joining with another.
