Finished "Murder in Mississippi" yesterday in school.

In the near future, remote viewing - the psychic process of being able to observe another person's memories or experiences - has become a standard practice in investigation and law enforcement. Here, a traumatized remote viewer is sent by a private company to investigate a wealthy family's brilliant but troubled daughter who refuses to eat, and who had been involved in a multiple murder attempt, as well as having been the victim of teacher sexual abuse. Worthwhile movie, staring Mark Strong.

I loved this movie when I first saw it in the theater, and I still love it on DVD!

In a theater: "The Giver"

It majorly sucked. Basically an inferior ripoff of the cool surreal Nineties movie "Pleasantville".

At home: finnally got around to seeing "Blazing Saddles". Have heard about it for decades, but never saw it until I put the DVD on the other day.

Can see way it made a big splash back in the day. It stands up as-meh- okay now.
