Remove hateful comments about Asperger's Syndrome

Oh really? Show me one example where this has happened.
I feel so sorry for people dumb enough to believe this.
As you started that thread, I'm guessing you might have some clue as to how people were able to do that in the first place.

throwaway comment on another message board.
Except it's not 4chan, and it's not posting nonsense and having a giggle over it. It's every single time AS people are mentioned, its normal for people to start spouting hate. And what do AS people do. Stick your heads in the sand and hope it goes away. Well how has that worked out so far? Where is the fruits of this "labour"?
Nice herring.

You can't stamp out the hateful opinions of absolutely everyone. Before you challenge them, try and see how much influence they have. I'm sure even you can admit that this guy doesn't have 1/1000th of the influence of Marty Nemko, and makes no difference to the life of anyone on the spectrum.
Speaking of Marty Nemko, he was only "defeated" after dozens of people on the spectrum went and challenged his ideas. If he had been censored, then conversation could have been had, and the opinions of the neurodiversity movement wouldn't have gained a new platform.
By the way, this fundraiser isn't a red herring, it isn't just some device to win an argument, it is a real life event affecting a real person that you can make a real difference to. I think it's a real shame that people on this board create a massive thread over a comment on a message board, yet only one person (other than me) donates to this cause. It just confirms the negative stereotypes of Autistic people that we are petty and self-absorbed.
I think you can add cowardly to the list as well, as you seek to have these opinions cesored, instead of having the balls to go out and challenge them.
I'm done with this argument. I hope I've given you some food for thought.

I notice the thread is closed so not so sure its true the site doesn't do anything about hateful comments...I made an account hoping to comment on that crap, but suppose I will just see if any bigotry pops up and challenge if if I so desire since I have an account now lol not sure I will actually spend any time on that site but maybe.

Except this is prevalent everywhere, and I was asking for something substantive on the plan of doing nothing.
You're asking for money from people that have an 80% unemployment rate, struggle to support just themselves, and you're going to call them all petty and self-absorbed for not donating their money. What f*****g money? Oh I'll just reach into my arse and, look, here's some money! Guess I won't be a self-absorbed AS person now, what a f*****g as*hole.
I've explained a number of times already why it's not censorship. What was it before, AS people are intolerant of hate speech. So, sitting on the sidelines, burying your head in the sand, taking pot shots at the people that aren't doing the same, then cut and run when you don't like what you hear, that's your idea of courage is it.
