Looks like the Seahawks are for real. They defeat the Packers in the first game of the season.

Meanwhile, Champ Bailey is on the Lion's practice squad.

Yes, I like NFL football quite a bit. I'm a Vikings fan most of all, but I like the Dolphins, Lions, and Broncos too. Unlike most Vikings fans I don't despise the Packers; I don't support them of course, but I respect them as worthy rivals. It's the Bears I can't stand. The Bears can't lose enough to satisfy me. Neither can the Saints. Yeah, I know that NFC Championship game was 5 five years ago and karma has hit them like a hammer since then--Bountygate, the painful 2012 season, never reaching another SB, and the one they did reach being forever tainted by the scandal--but I still will never root for New Orleans in another game.

Now if only they would get rid of the stupid commercials and let the defense actually play defensive football, it would be the ultimate viewing experience. 8)

I don't hold much hope for the Bears. They lost to the Bills and I can't see them beating the 49ers.

What?! The Beats beat the 49ers?! Amazing!

But the Bears lost Charles Tillman for the season. On the other hand, his replacement did his job.

Atlanta Falcons crush Tampa Bay.

Meanwhile, Devin Hester breaks the record for return touchdowns. Remind me again why the Bears let him go?

Well, well, the Bears beat the Jets.

Meanwhile, LB James Harrison has come out of retirement and rejoined the Steelers.

Bears blow it. . . again.

No more undefeated teams.

Peyton Manning throws 500th career touchdown.

Tom Brady has made 50,000 passing yards.

I'm a Cardinals fan and I like how they're doing so far this season. I hope they make the playoffs this year after missing the playoffs last year even though they were 10 and 6. It's a competitive division, the NFC West.

I hope we can get our injury situation resolved before we face the Eagles in week 8.
