Newbie from the SF Bay Area

Hi all. This is my first time writing on this forum, so be gentle.

I mainly came on here to make friends and shoot the poo, as my current network of friends is a little on the low side.

I'm 36 years of age. On the high functioning spectrum of autism. Which means that I tend to avoid eye contact, am sensitive to sudden or loud noises, and go into panic mode when engaged socially. Did I mention I also act very strangely around people?

I'm in the SF Bay Area and have, unfortunately, been here for most of my life. I'm looking to eventually move out of the country and start my life over again when I graduate college with a bachelors in English. Maybe I'll teach English overseas so I can save up some money. Once I have enough, I'll start up an organic farm somewhere. Probably Montana most likely and live out the rest of my days in peace. That is, if my writing career never takes off. Which is one hobby I love.

The other is reading, reading good books, and listening to good music. My favorite fruit is orange, and I enjoy working out as well. Did I mention I love Peets coffee?
