I am 14 years old, and I started my period when I was 11. At some point, it became regular, but for the past year, it's been even more irregular than it ever was. Currently, I haven't had it in several months. Is it like that because of stress, or does it take even longer to get regular?

It used to always come around the 31st of every month, and now I don't know how to prepare for it, because it doesn't come..

If you were regular before and now you are not, I would see a doctor. It could be this way for several reasons, and the doctor can figure out if something is wrong or not.

Could be stress, your weight could be too low, or maybe ovarian cysts. It's normal for your period to get out of whack every once in awhile, but it's not normal for this out of whack to mean missing multiple periods.

*shiver*
I really hope it isn't a medical problem, because then I'd have to go to a gynecologist, and I have way too huge of a problem with my genitals with gender dysphoria to be doing all of that.

If it's any more reassuring, I had some pretty big problems with ovarian cysts at 15 and there was nothing intrusive or involving the genitals; I only had ultrasounds done. It might not be something you'll have to put up with even if you end up having to see an OBGYN.
