Okay one thing that's really weird about what scientists say about climate change it defies anything we have seen on planet earth previously. Even when there has been much warmth and volcanic activity, for example. releasing a lot of gasses into the atmosphere that would warm the earth, ice ages have been more common than warmer periods.

That is not saying climate change isn't possible or has happened in the past or will happen in the future. What makes scientists so sure it will cause a greenhouse effect that will be long lasting? It's never done it before.

I would call it an argument from ignorance. It actually has been this way before about 20 million years ago. Sea levels were 80-100 feet higher than today.

Global temps have hit record levels and absolutely no scientific organisation in the world of national or international reputation dispute the fact of global warming. To say that all the data concerning AGW from all the scientific organizations in the world are lies is silly.
Who is behind this vast conspiracy, that makes every scientific organization in the world falsify evidence? Bigfoot? The Masons?*
The AGW deniers are like those that think Elvis is still alive.
* Lets suppose that silliness is true ( that every scientific organization in the world is part of a conspiracy and all their data is lies). UMMM if no evidence is allowed from legitimate scientific organizations, how can you say that AGW is not true?

It is a proven fact that CO2 causes warming. If you wish to see the evidence simply go to the primary sources ( NOAA, American Meteorological Society, NASA, Royal Academy....any scientific organization in the world of national and\or international reputation)
The effect of other factors has been factored in. For example, climate cycles, sunspots etc and the result is that we have greatly contributed to global warming. The sun is cooling and yet our temps keep increasing and breaking records.
Now, one can claim that the entire scientific community is stupid and\or lying, but that is outrageous.

"The combined average temperature across global land and ocean surfaces for August 2014 was record high for the month, at 0.75°C (1.35°F) above the 20th century average of 15.6°C (60.1°F), topping the previous record set in 1998.
The global land surface temperature was 0.99°C (1.78°F) above the 20th century average of 13.8°C (56.9°F), the second highest on record for August, behind 1998.
For the ocean, the August global sea surface temperature was 0.65°C (1.17°F) above the 20th century average of 16.4°C (61.4°F). This record high departure from average not only beats the previous August record set in 2005 by 0.08°C (0.14°F), but also beats the previous all-time record set just two months ago in June 2014 by 0.03°C (0.05°F).
The combined average global land and ocean surface temperature for the June?August period was also record high for this period, at 0.71°C (1.28°F) above the 20th century average of 16.4°C (61.5°F), beating the previous record set in 1998.
The June?August worldwide land surface temperature was 0.91°C (1.64°F) above the 20th century average, the fifth highest on record for this period. The global ocean surface temperature for the same period was 0.63°C (1.13°F) above the 20th century average, the highest on record for June?August. This beats the previous record set in 2009 by 0.04°C (0.07°F).

Global warming is a fact beyond dispute. EVERY scientific organization in the world of national and/or international reputation confirms that AGW is a fact. Are NASA, the American Meteorological Society, the Royal Academy, Scientific American, National Geographic,... and every legitimate scientific organization in the world part of a conspiracy? Who is in charge of this conspiracy? The Masons? E.T.? Bigfoot?
Even if one thinks that 97% of climate scientists are part of an evil conspiracy, one should at least read the evidence they present. But then again, if one does not believe in science and logic, all the evidence in the world will not make a difference.

Of course some non recognized sources ( some guys blog for example) may cherry pick information. It is like they are saying that summer does not exist because it was cold on July 15.
