Yes but many aspies also think they have better judgement than neurotypicals as I think I forgot to mention. Many in particular depend on their own logic to come to a decision and get suprised when someone else doesn't come to the same decison as they do.

That's because it's a fact that aspies often think more logically (rationally, according to evidence, without censor), as opposed to emotionally, like NTs (irrationally, according to feelings, censored). This leads to the assumption that we lack empathy, which is 100% incorrect.

Many people who disagree with me, often see me as less rational then they are, even in absence of evidence that they too are on the spectrum. Aspies are often resistant to change, and often only like certain things, both of which can make them dogmatic.
Even the most practically minded NTs don't have these issues yet you claim that aspies often think more logically.

Quote:
When confronted with documented facts, Aspies will most often either respond with contrary documentation or take it under advisement, research and revise their opinions. NTs, on the other hand, will stick by their guns for an extended period.

Can anyone give an example of this?

I'll test you guys on this? Are people with happier childhoods on average better brought up?

I'm going to have my husband read this thread.

Because if I did not hate myself and if I did not live in a constant state of anxiety and accept that the depression that this causes is simply a consequence of my continued existence, this would be me.

How much farther do I have to go before I have paid for my karma and can pass from incarceration, I mean incarnation, on this planet???

And I'm going to have the aforementioned rail industry worker read this thread, it was from things he wrote on a railfan forum I realised that aspies don't always think more logically than those not on the spectrum.

Many of us obsessed with particular topics can not only go on endlessly about them, but also argue endlessly when someone disagrees with what we say about them, and also lack any real notion of compromise.
