UK MP tells aspy constituent not to comment in public domain

It's an interesting one this. Having now read the emails and correspondence it's clear the constituent was as equally in the wrong to begin with.

However regardless the MP should still behave in a professional manner and he failed to do so. The second email thread was pathetic even before Aspergers came up. I had given him the benefit of the doubt until I had the chance to read the mails, not so much now.

Bebb it seems is trying to discredit himself at every opportunity and has been in the news again this week with his foot in his mouth. Lucky for him there was something happening in Scotland this week.

There have been a few things I read suggesting he may well get deselected by the Tories at the rate he is going and as such there are rumours he may just confirm he won't be standing. If may just be wishful thinking, though. Either way there's no chance he wins his seat back next year anyway.

Politician is saying if you can't take an insult stay out of politics ~ fact is, politicians shouldn't be insulting anyone; they're meant to be diplomatic.
Just because few are capable of being that mature doesn't mean we shouldn't expect them to be that mature ~ granted they might need time to deal with their own mental health issues, but if they're going to stay in the political arena while they're in therapy then we have a right to expect them to behave themselves.
Saying the aspie dude should back down because reasoning with unreasonable people is stressful is saying politicians are allowed to resort to intimidation when they have nothing sensible to say ~ if we don't demand respect from politicians we won't get it, period. (hi, i'm new here; was checking recent posts and [being totally fed up of people making me ill just so they have excuse to ignore me] i got hot and bothered by this albeit dead one ...hope that's ok)
