Who do negative attitude and outdated perceptions towards autistic people's ability to form romantic relationships persist into the 21st century?

Negative attitudes towards anything will persist forever, because there will always be someone eager to adopt them. Hater?s gonna hate. Guess what will happen, at best, if you try to force them to behave otherwise? They?ll hate you more  You have to move on with your life and avoid depending on those people for anything.

Most people don't really understand what autism is. Education about it is getting better all the time. Things are totally different to the way they were when I was your age, there weren't forums like this back then, so things have progressed a little.

It's all about education. Most people feel that they don't need to know about autism, so they don't learn anything about it.

Why do people's outdated attitudes about anything still exist in the 21st Century? I guess that people are threatened by disruptions to their own little orders of things.
