Personal experience: I know a 55-year-old woman who gave birth to twins. All are doing quite well now.

I can't even imagine carrying twins at this time in my life! lol Good on her!

Umm no, I wasn't punching at all- really, I am already giving up, and would certainly give up at 40.

My post really meant "I understand where you're coming from".

I took that the wrong way then, sorry. Was feeling a little defensive, but am a little more balanced now.

However, I think that you at 32 and me at 44 are neither one too old.

To make a typical family at 44? It's possible only if you wanna adopt children or finding a single father.

"Too old" is relative to what you want.

For example, I've started dating too old; most people start to learn these stuff at 16.

Yeah, starting a family for me isn't going to happen unless I adopt, which also isn't going to happen. Frankly I don't think I'm parenting material.
However, for you, as a man, there really is no age limit to when you can produce children.

Not true, recent studies show that men do also have age limit; after 40 fertility drops greatly each year; yes we have a biological clock too.

There's also age limit to make it practical; an old father can't raise a toddler properly.

And the child would born without grandparents and witb a dad who will propanly die when the child still teen - kinda sad.

There's another clock, it's called death; and it often comes earlier for men.

/typed on phone, expect dozen of typos.

True, but according to this you still have 6 viable years. Too soon to give up.

But yeah, I hear what you are saying. I've long since given up on the carrots offered by society - wealth, family, meaningful work, even a partner seems an illusive dream now.
