Did you agree to chat online or did you sort of just accidentally find her? You could have over-stepped boundaries or she may have found it to be odd. It's best to ask before doing that. I never look anybody up.

^ She wouldn't have replied in the first if it was a boundary for hers; and it was accidently.

Anyway, not worth the headache.

I guess she's one of those rigid people that likes to piet their friends and acwuaintances in boxes. I'm not that kind of person at all so it will always be weird to me. I wouldn'ttake it personally, honey Boo Boo.

Thinking about it, her choice is more honest than people who accept fb requests but never communicate.

If I were you, Boo, I'd just "go with the flow."

You mean that flow that never goes to anything? :p
Flows usually indicate some movement, I see no flow in this case - only a stagnant routine.

Yeah...I know what you mean by "stagnant flows."

I'd continue to see her as an "option," while pursuing other avenues.

Nope, she's not a option; option means hope here, as I said not worth the headache.

There are plenty of people who lurk on Facebook. I do that, and I know others who do too. You create an account, but basically dislike going on there, find it a waste of time or whatever. But you do not delete the account because you do not know how, or because it can occasionally be useful (e. g. If you need to organise an event or communicate with someone you don't have other contact details for).

If someone ignored me when their account was obviously active then I may take offense. However, the idea that a person MUST keep logging in to reply to messages and confirm friend requests or they'll keep offending people, seems downright unfair!

I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that she's deliberately ignoring you on FB when she might just be a FB lurker.
